From Cyprus Today:

'The area between Tatlisu and Çatalköy will be without electricity between 8am and 3pm tomorrow for repair works, Kib-Tek has announced. Tatlisu, Çatalköy, the Taşkent quarrıes, Ozanköy, Bellapais, Karakum and parts of Doğanköy will be affected.'

Funny they don't mention Esentepe, Bacheli, etc but I assume they will be affected too.

elko2. They are guaranteed for 5 years but last a lot longer if you take care of them and top up and fizz as required. No not replaced free of charge as very expensive kit. New solar systems are better now I believe, we have had ours for 5 carefree years.

Power came back on at 3pm, just as Kib-Tek said it would...if only our water pump would stop going on and off now (happens every time there is a power cut!).
