Turkish Cypriot radio reports that a cruise ship carrying 110 tourists, most of them British, anchored off the coast of Kyrenia yesterday.

This is the first time that a foreign cruise ship has brought tourists to the Turkish Cypriot areas.

The tourist convoy was welcomed with a dance show performed by a folk-dancing group and flowers were also given as part of the special greeting event.

The convoy then had a tour around the historic sites of Kyrenia. There has been no comment about the ALLEGED illegal docking from the government in Nicosia.

The cruise ship left for Egypt last night.

Sure it was'nt a rowing boat from Syria dropping asylum seekers for the south, bet the sharks in the harbour were rubbing their hands in delight.

I understand that under international Maritime Law this is not illegal. Hence the Syrian ferry etc. Only Under ROC law is this considered illegal along with pretty much everything else to do with the TRNC.

Pike... never saw that one coming....

I'm pretty sure you'd be expecting your government to act exactly as Turkey has if your countrymen were being slaughtered by, let's say, terrorists.
