Mrs jock and i had a lovely meal last night in the grumpy grouse, i would also like to thank Alan(mine host) for making us welcome as it was our first time there, they have a cracking menu,i think you should pay a visit, good value for money.

The only true Turkish (Cypriot) thing there is Alan's wonderful partner Ozge (hope spelling is right).



If you are fed up of the usual local fare this is a good place to try out. It is quite small but welcoming. You can get things from bangers and mash to beef curry all prepared by Alan. The best bits for the boss are the desserts so leave room.

There last night and GG is now on winter opening hours, Sun - Fri, 12 - 2400.



Coming from Girne in Alsancak it is on left about In the grounds of Kings Court Hotel, just before Chinese Resaurant.



Gold Fassel on draught plus good food.
