£2000 in the UK for an English Bulldog, makes them worth breeding.

My friends bully has just had puppies (Karsiyaka). They have been hand-reared, as the mother didn't want to know....

If you want to take a look......please let me have your contact details and I will pass them on.

Butting in here - I presume whomever is going to view the pups will also be seeing the mum? even though it is said she has rejected them - although I am NOT saying they are puppy farmed (to hand rear all the pups would have taken some doing) even so, they should be with their mum, whether she is feeding them or not - until eight weeks........they learn so much from mum on so many levels.........

There you go again, sewing the seeds of doubt without a clue.

MsGarnet, I can assure you that the mother & father can both be seen. I would have nothing to do with puppy farming. I posted for a friend, and wasn't sure if he wanted his details posted on the board.

The pups have been hand-reared (and they have done a great job), the mother rejected them (a Bully trait), but they are adorable, and the father lends a hand and is interested.

I am an animal lover, hope that puts your mind at rest, and Steve will be vetting all new owners.

Forgive me if my posting appeared mischievous. Having been there, done that, we found successful rearing of orphaned puppies totally stressful and requiring huge input from us, not everyone could find the time, patience or help, to do it, and I applaud your friend for getting the little ones through that difficult time. Any bitch can suffer from an infected uterus (as ours did), or any number of other ailments, not least, death.......our Vet warned us orphaned puppies aren't necessarily as strong or socially integrated as naturally reared ones, especially if their formula or first weaning doesn't meet the requirements of naturally fed pups. Cows milk wasn't adequate as the fat, calcium, protein et cetera doesn't have the right energy density and the water and lactose content is too high. Our pups were boxers, and fortunately turned out OK, and their new 'mums and dads' said they continued in that vein - so good luck to these little ones.....
