Hi there



I normally pack a few items of food in my checked in luggage such as bacon, ham, black pudding etc. As my case this time is right up to the limit, has anyone had problems with taking these foodstuffs in their hand luggage. Flying with Jet2 and checked their website but it does not say foods are not permitted.

Patience Msg 1 - I can not answer your question with regard to the airline but three thoughts for you

1] If you have something that might interest a police sniffer dog it might delay you through check in.

2] Are you allowed to import these products into the countries you are travelling through and into? If not I would not publicise them.

3] The 100 ML rule still applies so beware of pastes, sausages etc see:
