Bus from Larnaca Airport to Lefkosa

Hello,

I will be arriving at Larnaca airport on Sunday night around 9pm. Can anyone tell me if there will be a Bus running from the airport to Lefkosa and how to get from the drop off ( is it Solomos Sqaure ? )to the Ledra crossing.

Does anyone have a time table for the buses?

Easy. Kapnos Airport Shuttle. Runs all day, all night, at about 50 min interval. Costs 7 E-playmoney. From there take bus 158 or 160 to Solomos Sq.

Solomos Sq. to either the Ledra Palace or Odos Lidras crossing is a 10 min walk.

These are great used them a few times, the pick up is Larnaca sea front, bus from airport to seafront costs 1 euro. Again check timetable to see if running http://www.intercity-buses.com/

They take you right to centre of Nicosia, then you can walk across (really easy) and very cheap!

Thanks for that info. I have just printed out the timetables.

No good for coming over, I don't think, but will be good for going back to Larnaca.

Could you please confirm if there are 2 bus routes to Nicosia from Larnaca Airport 1 direct

to Nicosia the other a local bus from the airport to Larnaca sea front and then another to

Nicosia.All the local bus timetables I have seen are in Greek which I dont understand any

help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes there are two, http://www.kapnosairportshuttle.com this is from airport, but drops you outskirts of Nicosia



The one I have used, I get bus from airport to sea front for 1 euro, then get it from there to very close to crossing with http://www.intercity-buses.com/ only 3 euro



Both sites have English writing, so should be ok...

This bus information is great and much appreciated. I will get into Larnaca airport around midnight on the 26 September and must get to Kyrenia. I am thinking of over-nighting at a hotel and then setting out by bus next day.

It sounds like I should cross the border at Nicosia and look for the bus station on the other side.
