I just saw the most beautiful Chameleon in are garden.

It was taking a nice slow walk up my jasmine!

First I've seen here and certainly hope he / she shows up again!

Tatum - lock up your cats. They are rather partial to them - I know.

I heard an interesting talk on radio 4 from David Attenborough about chameleons, and he said they go black when angry, well yours did look a bit mad!!

Is that so??

Don't think it will be a problem as our 2 dogs love our cats and will have no nonsense...... they will be in there.

Anyway Chameleons are by nature gentle creatures

Unfortunately, the increase in use of garden pesticides has been solely responsible for severely reducing the numbers of chameleons and 'Praying Mantis'.

We see them in our garden from time to time - they seem to like citrus trees.

I have never seen a cat catch a chameleon.....has anyone else?

I have never seen a cat catch a chameleon but perhaps they do. I was however absolutely stunned when feeding my neighbours 7 cats in her absence and a large chameleon came through the open patio door and had a scoff at the feeding bowls amongst the cats who simply carried on eating regardless. It seemed "well put out" when I removed it mid meal to the garden where I thought it might be safer. In the 1970s in Cyprus my son had a pet Chameleon which lived on the curtain rail of his bedroom, there catching and eating insects.
