First set to Djokovic 6-4. Had gone with serve until 5-4, First break point of game (and set point), Djokovic failed to convert, got 2nd and made it to get first set.

How much do these tennis rackets cost? Djokovic's went back to the Balkan wars!

2nd set to Baghdatis. 6-4. 1 set all. Djokovic did loose his rag in the second set, smashing his raquet and getting a warning for doing so.

Third set to Djokovic (6-3). 2-1 sets over all. Its going to take something fairly special for Baghdatis to pull this back I think.

Well the 'dream' of a Cypriot wimbledon's men single finalist is over for another year. Djokovic is through. Baghdatis is out.

Come on Murray is all I can say

I agree MM. Highlight of Wimbledon for me this year so far given the matches I have seen so far. THen again I am a bit partisan. Baghdatis lost, but he did give good entertainment in my view.

Djokovic wasn't very magnanimous in his victory speech, more; me, myself and I. Good match though. He'd do better going back to his killing fields and smash a few rackets on those of his countrymen that killed so many in their genocide aspirations!

Good match though - Baghdatis certainly put up a fine challenge, and looked so cheerful too!

Does Bagdatis not look like a neanderthal man? Big nose, no forehead and a lot of grunting, who said they died out? My GC cousins will be most upset he went out so early. Perhaps if he could drop curse of the the greek flag on his T-shirt and eat a few less shish-kebabs, he may get somewhere.

Msg 16

That's pretty unfair, he played a good game, kept a smile on his face and didn't go into childish tantrums.

Yfred, Baghdatis doesnt really have the Greek flag on his T-Shirt. Well if he does then so does Murray. Its three blue strips , part of the addidas branding / logo for the shirt.

Just had a thought. Maybe the TRNC should design a new flag with the Nike swhoosh on it, then we could have our flag display all over the world for free ? I did a mock up of how it might look

And maybe adopt the tag line 'Just let us do it' ?

Or without the star, which I prefer. Could even claim its just a idealised graphical representation of the area of the TRNC and any resemblance to the nike swhoosh is entirely conincidental.
