Just very curious to ask why does any one want a husky dog that is genetically bred for cold climates?



Surely these breeds would suffer the heat? or do they adapt? Thought Huskies were bred for distance running and how on earth can they run in the heat of Cyprus?



This is just a curiosity question,.....

dizzy from the huskies Ive seen here its with great difficulty. A lot of cypriots want them now. New designer symbol. I hear what they pay for them and I fear for the animal.

I am sure that Cypriots and Britts alike take on pets just for Xmas. Not all can be tarred with the same brush! Please read the link on Huskies and the reason why they adapt to the heat as much as the cold. We are looking for a puppy who will be loved and well looked after after recently having just lost our seven year old german shepherd.husky mix to cancer. Anyone that knows of any husky puppies looking for a loving home, please contact us.

There are so many lovely dogs looking for a home! does it matter if it's a Husky or German Shepherd, or Heinz Variety! a dog is a dog, a puppy is a puppy just looking for love and affection a home they can feel safe in!

Yes, I agree with you. So many dogs here looking for homes. We support BARK on our side of the Island.The animal situation here is a sad state of affairs. However, for our own pesonal reasons, we would like a husky, maybe in rememberance of our beloved Humphrey. This is our choice.

Maria Im sure I saw an ad on the wall in the vets. Why dont you give them a ring and see if they are still available. There was a man there who had picked up a stray husky who was very pregnant so Im sure they can pass you some details. Good luck
