Why oh Why doesn't harvey post on here. We really want to buy a Motorcycle for tooling around on, but I find difficulty looking for good pre owned bikes.....anybody help ?? AND can anyone advise if you can rent a yacht for a week ? A good friend of mine (Dutch) is a very keen sailor, he would love to take his wife and daughter sailing around the med for a week, anyone know if this is possible ?

Sorry I dont have any info about renting or buying, all I have is a BIG warning for you if you plan on using a motorcycle in Cyprus, north and south, almost every day someone is critically injured on a motorbike.

Is there a particular reason that you want a bike instead of a 4x4 or cheap runaround car?

If anyone can help you, it would be Sam, from Sams place/pub in karagogogogoor alsancak. he has an answer for everything. He may even rent you his (he used to have one). Tell him the FBI sent you.

The most enormous Motorcycle shop has opened next to Lemar Karakum in what used to be ENF Yapi Market...



They must have literally millions of pounds worth of stock... hundreds of them... how many will end up on the road? Anybody's guess

If you want to get hold of Harvey his number is 05338456019, has a couple of preowned machines for sale. If you give me an idea of what type of bike you are looking for can prob help out. As Turbo advises ,you need to watch what your doing out here on two wheels, there ary many accidents with bikes mainly involving locals as skills and common sence are in short supply, but this also relates to their car driving aswell.

With regard to sailing, only place you can charter is from St Raphaels Marina in Limasol, well prepared yachts, decent prices and good Greek hospitality, Companies called TRUE NORTH.

if you take a drive down to the petrol station in bogaz just outside girne , just turn of the lefkosa road and you will see it. the guy there does all types of bikes.
