For 15 years, each week a news magazine is sent to my P.O.Box in Lapta from Germany, normally delivery takes 5-8 days. In March, the first time in all those years an issue did not arrive - until this Friday it was in my box. So it remains - so far not a single issue did not arrive - excellent work of German, Turkish and TRNC Post!

I just wonder if I could tell the same thing if I had subscribed to the Playboy magazine. Or do they send it in a neutral envelope?

I have paid an extra $28.00 for a parcel to be sent swift air to my home in Tatlisu, from the USA could this be held in customs ? this was shipped on the 8th September stated a 3 day servce nothing arrived so far can any one give me advice.

Gaza58......post to Cyprus from USA usually takes 3-4 weeks. Be patient, but its worth going to customs to ask. If its of any value "they" will want a cut.

When I was having new lenses for my glasses earlier this year, they should have been sent direct to Akay Optic in Girne from the UK, however after my getting more and more angry because of delays, someone from Akay went to Girne PO to find that Customs were holding on to the very small package. Needless to say, Customs don't tell you they have been hanging on to the package for two weeks, you have to find out yourself the hard way!!!
