Make sure to check rent-a-car firms since some sell their cars at good prices.



I know Pacific Rentals sold a few Renault 9 (very old model) for £1000 last year.



Other than that, see "car galleries". There are at least 5 in Lefkosa. If you have a local friend who lives in Lefkosa, may be he can take you out to all of them one day and you buy a lunch back ;)

I'm looking for a car myself and I was told to go to Lemar Supermarket in Karakum and buy a magazine called Buy and Sell.It costs 5 Yeni and there are loads of cars and vans for sale,both privately and from dealers! Brilliant! It's probably a good thing to have somebody who knows cars to go with you when you look at one! Best of luck. If you're a mechanic you can help me!
