Hi, am looking for a mechanic in the Karsiyaka, Lapta, Alsancak area to service my generator. It is boxed in at home and would be a two man lift.

Any ideas?

TIA

Brian

Between Friends Hotel and the Ravine Bar there is a roadside workshop which usually has a collection of motorbikes, quadbikes, etc., outside.

I would be inclined to go talk to the man first and see if he can help.

Well the guy that Vaughan recommended came and took the Genny (diesel) away to his shop then rang me three hours later and asked me to visit him. He then gave me a comprehensive breakdown of the jobs needing to be done to get the Genny back into working order (admittedly it was in a state as DIY I am not) which would cost 600tl and a further 150tl for labour. To purchase a new Genny in Lefkosa of the same standard would be about 5 times that cost so that persuaded me to cough seeing as Karsiyaka is still at the end of the line when it comes to electricity supply.

Anyway job done and well happy.

Thanks for the recommendation Vaughan.
