Would like to put UK sim card into a phone to use when in the south ..

Does anyone know which card will work in Cyprus ..

Had a T-mobile in the past & that wouldn't work ..

Harry & Rita msg 1 - most will work but you might have to have roaming enabled and credit paid.

T Mobile certainly did about four years ago when I had to go south for a business trip (when we were setting up our cross border religious tours) It worked both within Cyprus and to call the UK.

Just want it as a safety measure when in the south .. Turkcell is blocked when on the dark side ..

still costs upwards of 38p/ minute ( plus vat ) to call out and upwards of 15 p/ minute ( plus vat ) to receive.. texts cost 15 p, too :(
