Could anyone tell me which brand of kitchen appliance would I be better to purchase, with regard to the availability of spare parts and servicing, whilst in TRNC. Can someone also oblige and tell me where best to purchase these items, in the UK and ship them out or in the TRNC. Thanks.

hı there avrıl

ı would not reconmend to bring nothing like washing machine - fridge - dishwasher the reason it will cost more to ship out than buy brand new and also you will have guarantee's with these goods, things like kettles microwave and other small bits you can bring from u.k if you want

There are many companies to chhose from depening your price range mid-price goods are like arcelik-beko-vestel-regal quite competively priced and not bad quality then you got makes like zanussi-ariston-aeg-indesit-siemans a bit more expensive but good quality all of these manufactures have got service and parts places, in my houses ive got all ariston white goods (thats what they call kitchen appliances over here in turkish Beyaz esya) never had a problem

i would say go down to lefkosa and have a look around there you can get some good deals but the best thing to do is just go round diffrent shops and get prices and then you can compare good luck!!

Hi Avril,

From the various trips to Sunny Cyprus, BOSCH seems to be widely available in the shops, maybe a bit more expensive but a very good name.

Hi Avril, we also bought all our white goods from Acelik in Kyrenia, also all our bedroom furniture and bedding and also our t.v. We found it easier getting it all from the same shop and a bit cheaper. Happy shopping.
