If I won a million I would pay off Mortgages or buy my sons their own place, I'm happy with what I have but to see your children (even if grown up) have no more money worries, that is worth a million on its own,

First I would invest so my kids were sorted for life then I would give all my immediate family a lump sum and certain close friends. I would then give to a few struggling charities. I would have a crash barrier put up by escape beach as every time I pass there I get the butterflies lol

After I have seen to everyone I would probably like to travel, just to be able to travel when and where and stay wherever would suit me and who knows might just get a nip and tuck here and there lol

Before leaving work I'd buy everyone a large Kit Kat (well I wouldn't want to only be giving them 2 fingers would I ?!!!) and buy the kids a nice house each.

Round the world cruise, sort all our kids out so they wouldn't ever have to worry about mortgages again. Help grandchildren through Uni and also buy a house for a friend who would never be able to afford to buy.

If I won a million and someone asked what I'd do about the begging letters, I'd say that I would still send them!

i would build a state of the art annimal sancuary here in the trnc and i would also like to educate the people here abaout organ donation as so many organs could be claimed here due to all the road trafic accidents (that is my background if enogh was left over my kids would get the rest and as they have all beeen brought up to be charitable and as long as my grandkids have a good start they can pick thier own charities. for me a nice bottle of cristal, lobster supper a trip to italy ireland and wales and then back here to enjoy it rather than have to work day day out . if only i could do it. may even condider botox xxxx lilli

Doyen,

Can money buy you happiness? No but lack of money can sure as hell add to your woes!

One of the things we have tried to embrace here (not altogether completely successfully) is a less consumption driven life-style...

I'm pleased to say that our kids (bless 'em) came up with the answer "I'd give it away - it would be too embarrasing to have all that money"....

Out of the mouth of babes..... our children put us to shame...

I'd have to consider all the begging letters. But I reckon I'd keep sending them out.
