if 3 people sitting at a table clink glasses and say cheers, then that makes 3 clinks

so how many clinks will there be if there are 4 people or 6 people or 8 people?

Add the digits together of this new number, now take away 5 from it.



Turn this new number into a letter, so if 1 is A, 2 is B, C is 3 etc.



Now think of a country whose name begins with that letter.

If you pick a number from 1 to 10 (which is how it should start) by step three, you are always going to get D... most people can only think of Denmark... forgetting the Germans and why not (joke BTW)



So you are stuck with first of D and a last of K and animals beginning with K... not many, Koala does not spring to mind as easily as Kangaroo, which yields O not many fruits begin with O so you get Orange...

Pretty clever, but if you know whatever happens the Country will always begin with D, then ask them to name a European Country, not just any old country, then you have a fair chance of them getting the answer you want.
