How often do you change your password

I am thinking maybe I need to change my passwords to all on my laptop yet again !

You should change it monthly and make it as complex as you like.

neither did I till a long time ago..and a fair few months back ,because I was told that its a good thing to do from time to time

Surely if you consider your password to be as complex as possible, there's no need to keep changing it.

When I see you next, I'll sort you with software that looks after all your passwords. I've been using it for years with passwords so long and complex, they're uncrackable, unless you have access to Japan's "K" (Google it), and I don't have to remember a single one.
