Hi all you TRNC Home owners, can anyone tell me if there is such a thing as credit default insurance in the TRNC and where we might make enquiries

for more information on this.

Can UKturk help or Elko?

If you take out a mortgage in the Uk, you can take out an insurance in case you are ill or out of work and can't make the payments. Can anybody advise if this type of insurance is available in TRNC? I need answer quick. Somebody must know on this board.

If you are refering to 'Income Protection' insurance then I don't think it is available in the trnc.

I dont think a 'mortgage' (as we understand a mortgage to be in the UK) would be readily available in the TRNC. Therefore caan you clarify what kind of income/loan repayment you would wish to protect?

It is complicated and it is not me who has taken this loan. It is a bank loan where title deeds have been placed as security. If the person who took out the loan defaults, lots of people could lose their homes. If a credit default insurance were in place, they would have some protection. In the UK this would be easy to arrange but I wondered if it was available in the TRNC
