Opening times of the car tax office on the Greek side of Lefkosia?

Does anyone know the opening times of this office. I need to get car tax before I can get insurance apparantly. Last time I tried, at 2.00 ish, I was told it would not open until 3.00 but I need to check in at Larnaca at 3. Thanks

Thank Chris but that thread says it closes at 2.30 and stays opne until 5 on a Wednesday. The last time I tried was on a Wednesday at around 2 and was told it was closed and reopen at 3 and this would be too late for me. I am assuming that they close for lunch and maybe they will be open until 1.00? If anyone know for sure that would be great. Saves an unnecessary trip the day before!

Yes saw that thread too but couldn't add to it because it was more than 3 minths old. However those posts were when it was still technically winter times and wondering if they have summer times now. As I had said before I went there at 2 and the office was closed. The customs people told me it would open again at 3. If anyone knows for sure please advise otherwise I will have to go the day before which will be a bit of a pain. Thanks.

Last time I went ,I arrived at 7.30am when it was supposed to open, but the lady hasn't arrived, so the lady in the insurance office invited me in and made me coffee until they opened. See, there are nice people about.

I need to check in at around 3.00 pm and was looking to cross the border at around 2.00. What I don't want to find is that they operate the similar summer hours to the North and close at 12.30. I am trying not to be too early but also want to be safe. Thanks
