Having trouble with your printer and ink carts

Sometimes your new printer or old will give you grief with error codes and ink carts that wont show levels.

If you google your error code with make and type of printer it will give you some button presses that will reset everything and get you printing again

for example my canon pixma mp160 all in one has around 22 codes and when it has an error you can do nothing. knowing these codes are available and the button presses to fix saves time and money as the manufacturer doesnt want you to know these.

you tube videos showing you how for your make of printer are readily available as well.

dont despair keep on printing

here are some resets for canon printers will do the same for epson



Canon S9000, S300, S400, i550, i560, i850, i860, i865, i9100, i9950, PIXMA iP3000 above,

1. Turn off printer

2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button.

3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.

4. Press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go.

5. Green lights will flash and then stop blinking.

6. When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times.

7. Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not, press the Power button once more.

8. Your printer should respond as normal.

Warning make sure the utility is for your model of printer it does specify



extend the working life of your printer using this utilitynwhen needed

For Epson users I am glad you expressed the warning cyprusairsoft as SSC can cause other issues and is simply best stated as for older epson printers.



Thank you for bringing the reset codes for refilled cartridges to peoples attention as this is new to many people here in TRNC.

may i make a comment that i am in favour of refill carts but love the ciss system i am using



this does away with the need for ink carts and is much cleaner

do you stock ciss sytems?
