Why dont you have different sectiions for the forum, like one for the sad numpties that just bitch and whinge about the North, why you shouldnt buy , dont even think about getting a job ! Dont go here or there , Different section, just go on if you wanted to get insulted and slagged off, this section is for the ones who had had too much sun, didnt do their homework when buying, have nothing to do apart from posting on here. I have been to some great places in the world and some shitty ones, but the TRNC has its faults but thats why I like it so much, if I didnt I would have bought in Spain or the South. There some very helpful people on here , but so many morons, maybe make them have a dunce icon on their profile , hey ho

The place is going down the pan - the smart ones have already left - leaving the deluded rose tinted gang singing the kfc's praises............. "yow'll learn" - as uncle percy used to day............ |

"C,mon Nick it could be worse" for us, you could still be here! For somebody who confesses to being gobsmackingly happy in his new environment NN seems to spend an awful lot of time obsessed with the goings on here! You have to wonder why......

mess 10 - well groucho.............. you know when you are driving down the motorway and on the opposite carridgeway there is a horrendous accident - and try as you may, you can't stop yourself looking - maybe a morbid sense of relief that you are ok and the poor blighters on the other side are in such a bloody mess.... Get the message, Gavin ? i'm alright jack - but its quite adictive comming on to cy44 to see the rose tinted gang slowly seeing the place going down the pan. still wearing their "we love it here" T shirts.... And having seen the shabbily built, Sally Kyam monstrosity you are currenly shacked up in - i'm glad to be on "this side of the carridgeway"..............

Negativenick, on some of your postings you have always replied to people telling them about "no direct flights, no direct trade". I am curious to know that when you bought your property in NC why it became an issue to you after you bought. Surely, when you were doing your homework before buying, you would have known this. These things did not happen after you went to NC they have been there for many years and will be for many more. So, when you were ticking off the boxes of the good and the bad and you finally said, yeah lets do it, you would have said I presume, direct flights, well I can put up with an hour on the tarmac and arriving at Ercan about 10.30 at night, if not, well theres always Larnaca(if it was open to you when you were living there), bit of aggro, but do-able, no problem and as for no direct trade, well I can eat and buy locally, I can get all my white goods, I can use local labour, no problem. So why tell people its an issue when its part of the boxes you tick?

"And having seen the shabbily built, Sally Kyam monstrosity you are currenly shacked up in" Really, I have no idea what you are talking about. Never heard of Sally Kyam and we certainly don't live in a house built by anyone of that name...

Turtle (mess 15) I've been to Thailand many times, and believe me it's more of a paradise than the TRNC will ever be (as long as Mr Robb doesn't transfer his victims money once again) as for "If you don't like it just move on, most victims have already moved on! but we keep trying to ensure there are no new ones we care for our fellow man/woman, and don't pretend the TRNC is a utopia! which it sure as hell isn't!!! NN touches many nerves, but he's more than often right! .................Trust me................ As for own mistakes................. maybe you made a Big One!!! I sincerely hope not!!! but only the future will tell................. everyonel needs a crystal ball when dealing with the TRNC! there is nothing Black & White, nothing honest & straightforward! is another Never Never Land or Airy Fairy Land take your pick As for Blame, there is only the TRNC Government! look no further!

Was it Thailand (or similar) Gary Glitter was arrested in? Westerners in Thailand, rightly or wrongly, are associated in most minds with under-age prostitution, bought-brides and lady-boys. Dodgy builders seem saintly in comparison.

Riddles (mess 27) The TRNC and Thailand are closely connected both with Nightclubs on their doorstep!!!, as for the under age Human Trafficked! please don't underestimate the "Not Recognised" Status! The only difference is that the Thai Authorities who are recognised work very hard, as you have seen in the Gary Gilitter Fiasco, there are no such arrests in the TRNC! They are corrupt to the core!
