crime and thefts from villias

hi there my mum is in dogankoy and has heard on the grape vine of quite a few robberys and thefts from villias, she is in chiclos area i think thats how you spell it , my uncle had his villia brocken into as well , please can anyone tell me if they know of any thefts from villias and a gang going into villias pretending they are holiday makers but robbing the place i am worried about my mums safety ,

Providing your mum is sensible and does not go out and leave doors/windows open (even the tiny one in the bathroom has to be closed), tell her if she goes out at night to leave the tv on and a light upstairs as well then no-one knows that the house is empty.



This can never be 100% but tell her she is safer here than in the UK.

thankws , i think we all can get a bit complacent about leaving doors and windows open , and expensive belongings around the pool etc, i certinally will try and remember to be more carefull thanks
