Hello,



I have recently bought a pair of Birkenstock sandals from the Birkenstock shop just off Ledra Street. After having problems with them I took them back to the shop yesterday only to have the owner shop was extremely rude and said that it was my problem. I have had the sandals for a month and the colour has come of the sandal. Please do not buy any shoes from him. There is another Birkenstock shop further up near the Hilton Hotel.

You can also get Birkies from one of the show shops opposite Mr 4ytl.

Contact Birkenstock directly, they have a worldwide reputation to maintain, and will likely want to resolve your issue.

You could also mention the attitude of the shop selling their wares and that it is not a good image to portray of a fine company.

I am sure they will be interested, and appreciate the feedback.

Have bought shoes every year for the past 4 years from that shop, as my son has very flat feet. I was there only 3 days ago, I have never had any problems with the couple that run it or the shoes. I'm wearing my own right now.

Maybe he was having a bad day.

I had a similar problem when trying to exchange shoes here...very happy to take my money but not so happy to rectify any subsequent problems. Shame
