With the possible future requirement of a large and long retaining wall plus some rather high quotations for the job does anyone have any idea of the cost of bulk readymix per cubic metre and average lorry capacity.

quite expensive, hubby is out right now but when he gets in i will ask him he will know.

prices have gone up and up for building supplies over the last few years.

we did a lot of our walling with breeze block (which are reasonably priced) then clad the walls in local stone.

Concrete costs , al least in UK are partly dependant on specification and cement content.

A universal C35 350Kg ordinary portland cement per 1000kg mass in UK will cost about £65.00 cubic metre.

Cannot understand some of the quoted build costs in M2 that you get in TRNC.

I would say a hi specification build should be no more than £360.00 per sq metre providing access is good and there are no special dificulties with infrastructure and utilities.
