just shows one what an unholy mess the UK social services system is. Frankly news items like that only goes to bolster my belief that UK plc is imploding fast, and that moving here (TRNC) was such a wise move

my mum use to work for social services, in a secretarial job. she had loads of friends who were social workers, they were all mentally affected.

they take loads of time off sick due to stress of the job.

seriously if i took a day off everytime i got stressed i woud be on invalidity benefit.

i think these people do a rubbish job, are overpaid and underworked.

i don't see them any differently from social security scroungers, they both do nothing and get paid.

hi nige i find this so distressing. I am gong though a similar situation with my youngest daughter and my autistic grandchild with custody being given to ahy father who hasnt seen him for the first 3 years of his young life because of justice for fathers, the truth being he can claim more if he has custody of the boy As for organ donation i dont know if you know i was actuallly pr director of kidney research and on the commitee of a national charity which wasmade up of 27 organ related charities.I devoped the donor card and lobbied parliment to put it on driving Licences, (see I am not always blond) i find this unbeleivable and will contact the d. this is mail to put them in touch. The charity i mentioned is headed uo a a senior and i mean senior royal. this is so awful this boy deserves a chance and the poor father it doesnt near thinking about.PC who the hell coined that phrase

it's downright inhumane , social workers are a breed on their own , worked with enough of them in my working life , not a pleasant experience on way more than one account

What a dilemma for this guy!.

If it were me I would give the organ without question. The boy needs it and if he is the natural Father then he should give it - no questions asked.
