If you give everyone a general idea of where you are, I am sure they would be only too happy to give you some ideas for bars, restauants, beaches, etc,.

Okay you've moved to Cyprus and you want teaching jobs. I take it you've looked into this, actually I doubt that you have otherwise you'll know you need work permits etc;

Forgive me for being so negative, but people come onto 44 saying they have moved to Cyprus but have not thought to ask questions on here before they even think about a move to TRNC.

You cannot be serious, in fact I don't think you are serious.

Msg1: 'Me and my wife...'

Do you mean 'My wife and I....'?

Do you teach English language/literature, by any chance?

Tenakoutou, exactly the point I made in his post about wanting a teaching job and I was told to get a life by a 22 year old student! Do students these days not bother with language structure? Although a thank you goes to Paulw for appreciating the meaning of my reply to that post.

I had a great life as a teacher in the UK when, as you so rightly point out, grammar and its correct use were considered to be important.

OOps! off topic for this thread I guess, but I hope he finds places to go for entertainment.

Agree with message 9 I often feel people do not do enough homework about TRNC before upping sticks and leaving the UK.

Agree with message 8 an 9 I often feel people do not do enough homework about TRNC before upping sticks and leaving the UK. I think Paul writes a great deal of sense on this forum and seems to spend the same amount as the person writing in the first place i.e. 10.

Try the entertainment strip on the Lefkosha/ Guzelyurt road, lots of fun pubs, good late night entertainment , and free if your a government official or a policeman. I can recommend the stay-over accommodation, the waitresses really give you everything you want.

Lovely people
