martin/msg 1:

Probably, the 'guarantee' means that the customer won't be back within a year - I wonder how many times he's sold that same pump, then abruptly inquired of the irate customer if he 'likes sex and travel'???!!!

All my intention was to warn people from buying any electrical goods from this shop and so posted this warning to help any others reading this forum from being conned like we were

What reason were you given for not exchanging the pump or being given a refund?

Why did you leave the premises without either of the above ?

Did you not create such a fuss that any other customer would have been aware ?

Did you not return with either the police or a pick-axe handle ?

Thanks for the warning however, Yapis like that get people like me charged with assault!

Oh dear! Doesn't sound too good.

However, next time go to Press Technic, next door to Freddies.

Yesterday I got a call from a lady who had a pump installed by one of our "competitors" on 11th June. The pump had failed and the person who had done the installation was out of the country for three weeks. I hasten to add that no one was at fault, just one of those things. We took the pump back to Press Technic, explained it was not our installation and immediately, without any hesitation, was given a new pump. All installed and done within the hour thanks to Press Technic. You couldn't ask for any more from them, as usual
