| They were selling them frozen in Lemar not long ago,not sure if they still have any.also,Tantuni (next to mr pound) does them,lovely hot with ice cream on top  |

| Bought in most supermarkets from the frozen section,around 10TL for 2,boil up a little water and add a cup of sugar to make a syrup to pour over once the Künefe is cooked,delicious,even some pouring/whipping cream over it is also delicious. |

| Ladies! Künefe is no Mantı - just like Ravioli is no cheese cake!
There is a Künefe specialist / shop in Lefkoşa. It is at the centre of the walled city, on the main road (one way) opposite the law courts, on the left hand side as you pass the main post office. It has got "künefe" written all over the shop windows and I believe it is also included in the shop's name - you cannot miss it! |

| to be honest Ali abi,I've never had it here.I do love a bit of kunefe when I'm in Hatay and I had noticed the shop in Girne. |

I tried it once and was hooked but not seen anywhere that sell it fresh.
