feel sorry for Massa tho....who would have thought Glock would be in a position to hand Lewis the title on a silver plate?.......................on the last corner

But if Glock had come in like everyone else Hamilton would still have been 5th anyway.

The only question to be asked is should Glock have come in for wet tyres!!!!

Shame on you for questioning a great season for Lewis. He has had some questionable decisions against him in the last few races. Be happy that it was a great and exciting last race, the team took the chance and knew that they were after Glock. It paid off..........just!

Lewis has a well deserved championship win. In my opinion anyway.

I agree, Hamilton is king but 18 seconds on the last lap, he was chasing for 5 laps and got nowhere near then all of a sudden ?..........just makes me wonder

Turtle, from your remarks I can assume that you have never felt the difference between driving on dry tyres when it is dry and when the track is damp/wet. I have not done it is a car but several times in a kart. It adds a tremendous amount of time to your lap because you tend to want to go in a straight line on the corners if you go too fast. Consequently you have to take them at a slower speed in order to keep on the track.

Last time on a kart track that it happened in a race I was in the lap times all increase by 50%.

Had it started to rain proper then the lap time on dry tyres could well have increased to over 2 min.

How about cheering a true winner on!

He played it right to the letter. If he had gone out looking for the win one of the others would have tried to run him off or get him penalised in someway to allow Massa a positive win....

Turtle, I believe that the concentration at the time was on Vettel, the commentators did say that the next possibility or hope was that Timo might let Hamilton in by coming off the track.

Iceman, Turtle

The second half of the Interlagos track and the last few bends are notorious for holding water in a wet race.. When Glock's team decided not to take him in for wets he was promoted to fifth place, which could have robbed Lewis of his title... in doing this they gambled that glock could hold off on Intermediates as the rest of the field were on new wets and not racing at full speed... it nearly paid off too... but in the last three or four corners Glock car was like sliding about like a car on ice and as he left the racing line he was picking up the rubber "marbles" from the track... he simply could not keep on the line.

If he had come in for wets he would never have been in fifth place so it was a brave try to keep his racing honest and tey something that would have given Ferrari the title.... I don't think it's fair to accuse Timo of any chicanery as he was clearly trying to do the best for his team's racing position and to score points.

i dont understand why should glock be ashamed ???

i think he was very brave to stay out on wets it nearly paid off for him, i have driven on both wets in the dry and drys in the wet, you would not belive what huge differants it makes, its worse than driving on sheet ice when on dry tyres in the wet no grip, no brakes and deffinatly you cannot get the power down, which i belive was glocks problem on the last cpl bends,
