We pay £50 per month.

Two visits per week in the summer months and one in the winter.

The price includes anything that needs replacing in the pump room.

msg 2,

50 pounds per month is not a huge sum for pool cleaning. I can't see why anyone would risk a catastrophic pump room flooding that necessitates a pump re-wind (possibly) and/or a new electric panel, to be included in that price.

Good luck to them, I say. Lets hope they keep to their word.

Why pay £50 per month when you can do it yourself. I have bean maitaining my pool since we moved here and no probs. £200 sets you up with the necessary equipent and you're away. Don't trust the pool cleaners anyway if you're out they skimp on the job and eventually get ripped of. They only stay about mins then go. At least when you do it yourself you know its right.

Msg 9 but that is only if you know that you are doing , many of us don't . I wouldn't risk it personally

I got one of these from Vaughan and maintaining the pool is a piece of cake.

http://www.aligator.com/

No chemicals to worry about apart from a small cupful of chlorine every 14 days.

And very very occasionally some acid if in the rare event the alkalinity creeps up

Got my system just over 2 years ago and and has paid for itself

It always worried me when I watched the lads clean the pool, throwing in the unmeasured chlorine and god knows what else and then hovering in less then 15 minutes.

Let the arguments commence, I will not be joining in cos you ain`t gonna change my mind!

In response to msg 8 & 9.

We prefer to use the services of someone who knows what they are doing in regards to pool maintanance.

The person we use was recommended to us and in the 3 1/2 years we have used his services we have recommended him to other people who are also happy with the service he provides.

He looks after 5 holiday homes on our site and does not skimp on his duties when it comes to the weekly cleans.

When we had the heavy rains our pump that was flooded twice was removed and serviced at no extra cost. This year he has replaced the sand and the part that holds the sand (sorry, not being an expert I don't know the technical word!!)

He also resealed the ballast tank due to a leak.

All included in our monthly charge.

All in all he is very reliable and does what he says within our contract.

have to agree simbas, cleaning pool is no problem, i do my own, but getting the chemical balance correct is another matter im just changing over to zero clor , dave the boss man there has been very helpfull to myself , have just changed the sand in filter it was 4yrs old not a job i would not recomend but i didnt know untill told, that it was the cause of my problem in pool, so while i can agree with message 9 to save yourself money you still need the expertise of reputable companies for tecnical advice sometimes

A 8 x 4 pool maintained by Zerochlor would be £55 per month.

2 visits per week in the summer months.

1 visit per week in the winter months.

Price includes products for a 100% chlorine free swimming experience.

Happy chlorine free swimming folks.
