Sy - what if you cant work and dont have enough money to live - I guess you curl up have a cry and expire.

Not rely on a company that says of it's prospective clients with no money -

"As an international investor you are most likely to be earning a much higher salary than you could reasonably expect to command in a similar occupation in your home country."

guys? just offering a good service to expats who donot or have not thought about pensions yet.

the title suggests when you get older and have to retire and are not able to work then maybe a tax free pension would be an advantage.

government backed is not trnc, it is the financial jurisdiction that your pension is placed according to G20 white list. example: jersey, guernsey, isle of man and so on.

this is not a post to be riddiculed at, it is is merely for letting people know that i maybe able to help them secure there financial future.

we specialise in education funds, so for all of those who pay for their kids to go to school, why not pay a fund and possibly pay for all your kids with the money it costs to send one- just by investing.

pension plans- if you are working now, save some money for the future? tax free

this is a service to help people and i am happy to help. if you would like a free review of your situation please get in touch sy@stjamesinternational.co

Moshe was 88 years old and went to see his financial advisor.

“So what do you think is an appropriate investment for me?” asked Moshe.

“Well,” replied the advisor, “I have found a terrific investment that will double your money in 5 years.”

“Are you meshugge,” said Moshe, “a five year investment? Why, at my age, I don’t even buy green bananas.”

there are people who work, who do think about their kids future, who do pay education costs and do require a pension oneday. this company has been doing this for 16 years and manages over 70,000 clients with over 5 billion in fund management. so they must be doing something right.

check the website http://www.stjamesinternational.com and see for yourself

if you would like a free review and see what products are available and how it works pls email me sy@stjamesinternational.com

you donot pay me anything ever, you pay direct to your insurance company. happy posting and lets try and think more positively about things here.

hi barry

what we do is have a meeting with you and discuss and review your situation, what things are important to you and how you hope to achieve your financial goals. i then take this away and come back to you with several options from lump sum investment to regular savings plans. if you like what you see, you fill the forms in and we set up your plan, this is for education funds, pensions, trusts, life cover, income protection and so on.

you can also set up and offshore account based in the isle of man to benefit from your payments

we donot charge a client fee and get paid by the service provider, i do ask that when you have chosen a product you let your friends know so they can benefit from this. if you would like a free review of your situation pls let me know

The website looks the 'usual impressive', but for the time being I won't risk any of my money getting 'muddled up' with theirs!

There is no magic, savings and invetsments carry risk. You take the highs with the lows and if you are very lucky you just might come out ahead. If someone is offering an interest rate way above the market average, be wary.

An unfortunate heading for the topic I think. Obviously what was meant was that when you get older and have no work then how will you survive if you have not made provision through a private pension. To rely upon the state pension may not be enough, especially if you have not kept up social security payments to the UK.

St. James, you can see how others on here will pounce on you even though you are offering a service that everyone needs. I have never heard anyone ever regret having started a pension plan, perhaps the knockers on this forum will confirm?? Either they are all stinking rich or maybe they did make provisions?

Ignore the bully boys on this forum, they have nothing better to do with their time but knock others.

I did use St James Place for a few years and they did what it said on the tin. If you want a very good choice of products then try elsewhwere. Theirs is limited as is the knowledge of some but not all of their advisors. If you dont have any knowledge yourself or know an advisor who is very good then they are a good company to deal with and are sound. Beware the amount of time you may be tied in without having to pay a percentage to get out. If you are in for 5 years then it isn't a bad deal.

Can any body tell me if this guy stjames, is serious? Is he blind to the world economy?, is he blind to see what's been going on in the world economy. Banks are failing, financial institutions are failing, a lot of country's economies will fail, the retirement and pension funds are dried up, the US Dollar will soon be a thing of the past and he is here talking about investing in those very things that are hurting people.

Guys just take a look at this video please, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Wvcbk8Hcuc

Copy and past it on your browser then click on "click to view video" and when the video box opens click on the video itself so you can get a glimpse of the magnitude of the mess we are in. You can as well try and see the movie "THE INSIDE JOB" This shows how fund managers and banks have been screwing us all

I invested my pension in some like this back in 1990 - law came out asking if I thought I had been undersold - yes!! Omsbuman took 5 years to investigate finall company owned up it had undersold me my pension by ----£50,000 punds - and they topped it up with that amount - soon changed to another company 2002 and in 5 years it had grown another 50% - so I cashed in 2007 just before crash thank goodness I did. Moral - don't trust the poster
