On my recent visit we decided to go to kaplecia for the afternoon on the beach on the way there the road was closed and we had to go onto the

old road upon leaving the road and avoiding a large lorry at the same time my son turned off a bit to early and we ended up grounded on the edge of the new tarmac ant the stones leading to the old road.

we tried lifting the front of the car and reversing out being front wheel drive this became worse as we buried the tyres into the ground lower. a local man on his way with his family in a truck stopped to help.

he stayed with us for an hour or so trying everything possible until we managed to pull it back onto the new road many more locals had stopped to ask if they could assist the man in any way. when we were done I was so relieved and my son who felt bad about it.

I offered to give the man some money who made it perfectly clear this was not wanted. I thank the good Samaritan and ambassador of N.C for the help he gave us on that Sunday. f
