Is anyone else totally fed up with the way the water delivery people are always delivering far less than they say.

I have recently ordered enough water to fill a 10 tonne tank in the ground and with my 8 x 4 pool only 17cm short of full, I need a total of 15.76 tonnes.

Having paid my water man for a supposed THREE deliveries of 8 tonnes the pool is still 5cm short of full.

Do these water people think that we do not know that a tonne of water is exactly One Cubic Metre. So an 8 tonne delivery should be 8 cubic meters.

Yes, I am the mug having paid for 24 m3 and only had 15.76m3. But I paid the guy as he started the third tank & when it stopped filling the pool after just minutes, it was obvious it had been yet another con.

Who can recommend a water company that delivers the full amount requested..... even if it is a bit dearer than 10TL a tonne?

Thanks

Sorry to hear of your loss, but just wondering where was the extra 8 ton that you paid for going to be kept if you only needed less than 16 ton? By my calcs you needed another 1.6 ton in the pool which would then have been 16 ton total.

I was allowing for a little exaggeration, but not 50% worth. We would also have had the unused water let loose down the drive to clean things up a bit. Poor excuse I know.
