2 cups cooked chickpeas (use tinned or freshly cooked)

1/4 cup lemon juice

1/4 cup olive oil

2 cloves garlic, chopped

2 tbls water

1/2 tsp ground sweet paprika



Process everything except the paprika until smooth.



VARIATION: Add 3/4 cup TAHINI (ground sesame seeds) for Hummus bi Tahini



Yummy humus ! yummy yummy yummy, humus in my tummy !!!!

pannani - clot , welcome to the board , i do actually use that recipe and its brilliant i also add some corriander sometimes that too is yummy , have you got any more recipes we can try

One thing, why do your instructions say to process all bar the paprika? Why not process with it? Then not state that the paprika is added at all....



OK you can stir it in later and sprinkle some on the top for a nice colourful result...



Also we like ours with a bit of a kick and the paprika "Tatli Biber" out here is very mild and sweet.. I usually add a little chilli to the mixture...



This can be done in small stages to get it just right without making it blow your head off!

dont really want to go to ther horses mouth to find out however
