"Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has prompted nearly 200 people to complain to the BBC about a joke he made on Sunday's motoring show. Clarkson, 48, was taking part in a lorry-driving task, when he suggested that lorry drivers kill sex workers. "Change gear, change gear, check mirror, murder a prostitute, change gear, change gear, murder. That's a lot of effort in a day," he said. Lorry driver Steve Wright was jailed in February for killing five prostitutes. " A whole 188 complaints.... well I hope they never watch him again... personally I love his irreverent humour and I do recognise a joke when I hear one.... Some people just want to pick a fight.... come to think of it, Clarkson's rather good at that too!

He has just driven a lorry through a brick wall recently and injured himself, I suppose that was another of his jokes?

Who would watch if it wasn't for Clarkson's blatant prejudices being aired? That was the whole point and he would be the first to admit that they were... although many have a sneaking suspicion that he's right half the time....

To be honest a lot of the time I think JC says what we are all thinking. Would this have been such a high priority on the news if it wasnt coming in the wake of the Brand/Ross fallout?

One of the best programmes on TV. Clarkson knows exactly what he is saying and his band of followers know what he is like. He really is a love him or hate him with no in between. Wish James May would get his bl***y hair cut, looks like an old sheep.
