Can anybody advise if the market at Lambousa is still on every saturday? and how much is a pitch, are there plenty available, and what the start time is.

Got some gold coins I dug up in the garden to sell.

Thanks

The Market is great it cost just 8ytl for a stall, just ring Ian and book lots of room, you get a table with 2 chairs so you can rest while you wait for customers, very busy and also you can get rid of a lot of things you dont need.

DN I forgot to say the stallholders usually get there around 8.30 and the buyers start arriving anytime after that depending on how keen they are.

Directions take the first left after the sign to Lapta and follow the castle wall (well it looks like an old castle) and you will see lots of parked cards unloading. If you want Ian's number who runs the stalls I have it.

Thanks Smithy, will be up for the early start. Turtle, the coins can't belong to you as they have a Roman Geezers head on the back, had a look round Italy and could'nt find him so have decided to sell the 3 sack fulls at the market, also got a few swords and a couple of diamond encrusted ceremonial daggers, and some scooters for sale

Car Parking Lessons will be available every Saturday at the entrance to the market, those with UK plates, poor eyesight, and blatant ignorance for other users of the market can sign up for this once in a lifetime offer by emailing Gordon with the words "I am an ignoramus" and he will give you more details. It is expected that places on this very short course will go quickly, so dont waste time sign up today!!

good market but too many people selling the same kind of food and some of the prices are a joke. We bought a small pasty and a slice of quiche once and it cost us 13ytl. Won't be going to that stall again!!!

Aslan,

Ha ha... you should see the TCs parking in the Lemar carpark at Catalkoy...

Hundreds of spaces all marked with red pavier bricks and yet they still park in the middle of the road through the concourse blocking the exit...

The more expensive the car the less likely they are to park in a space...

Big BMW or Mercedes Benz = Too posh to park!

Grouch

I find it so refreshing to be able to park where ever I want in the TRNC, don't you?

The favourite appears to be across a zebra crossing.... the one in Karaoglanoglu is just the ticket... which is what they should get but don't....
