Keith,

What do Sea Terra say about the problem? Seems to me that they need to fit some sort of surge protection into their infrastructure?

They should still be responsible for that type of problem, even though they have handed over the site?

It would appear power surges are common throughout the TRNC. Read somewhere that lots of people have ruined expensive electrical equipment due to this. It is recommended that people purchase some sort of power surge protector. Electric suppliers are at fault.(kibtek) Can't see how the maintenance company is responsible, except for replacing the bulbs.

My villa insurance covers all my electrical goods for all damage caused by power surges as long as they are named on the policy, hope this helps.
