Mozzie Spraying by Belediyesi - is it safe?

Does anyone know what they use in the mozzie machines used in North Cyprus....I have heard that Lapta are no longer spraying because of possible health dangers to humans, can anyone confirm this?

I have to say when they come to spray along my road I close all of the windows and stay indoors !

What ever they spray, there should be some sort of public notification to allow people to clear the area...........They sometimes spray during the day when folks are lying out in the sun or swimming in their pools...."Ludicrous ".........
