Roger we used to use Zurich but now we use Umbrella (available through Iktisat Bank and several other outlets)

They have settled several claims for friends and family and never a niggle.. which, when you come down to it, is what you need....

It's all very well having nice cheap insurance but it's when you make a claim that you want life made easy not someone rubbing salt in the wound...

I'm not saying the other companies are guilty of doing this... just relating the good experience with Umbrella I am aware of...

Their policies cover earthquake etc as standard...

Grouch

Do they cover landslide? I have found that most companies are now shying away from this extra.

Aj I believe they do.... but you would be best to declare if your home is in a high risk area like the edge of a precipice or a ravine...

What is that on the top of your head. Can I help you? Your eyes are about 4 inches lower.

Jock1,

I think its past your bedtime! If I come over in January, will Cathy let you out for a night to play, or am I wasting my time?

At least Wackyjim is his own man, and calls a donkey a donkey.

wacky,

I've had enough of Pike baiting. Its no fun when you keep catching them, and having to throw them back. They are so dumb, keep biting!

I'm thinking of taking up religion! Have you seen all this 2012 stuff?
