There is a small place in Alsancak, almost opposite the Swell Bar, Blue steel door.



The guy in there has treated us so well, and his prices are good, I told my son what we had paid and he siad the price was the same as the UK.



Unlike the UK you don't then have to pay on top for balancing, valves, old trye disposal. etc.

yes you have to pay for all scrap to be disposed,tyres included(around £1.50 each)



all dealers have t pay to have them collected and they have to pass this fee on.

it was originally introduced fromgovernment for recycling,sadly not as much is recycled as should be

I replaced 4 Michellin tyres on my car last year ..

The tyres were manufactured 2003 & were probably new on the car when it was imported ..

The tread appeared to have many miles in them & would seem cheap @ 90TL a pair if re-sold ..

Alas the walls had begun to crack .. Used tyres not a good idea in my book no matter how cheap ..

100% agree ,but each to their own ....i know what goes on with second hand tyres as for 30 years thats what i do for my living etc ....trouble is people cant afford the cars to the run their own cars safely anymore and are not experts in what they are looking at ....like you say all tyres are dated and for advice should not be used if over 5 years old
