Dislike: people that live IN TRNC in rented accomodation disregarding views of those that own but currently only visit periodically.



Dislike - that some people can say and do what they like get banned and then allowed back



Dislike- the favortism at times that there is



Like - the good information it brings



I think perhaps Dutches forum should be for those that live on the island as he gets very irritated with those that don't at times. In my opinion.

I agree, Barry, great to get the opportunity to debate with others in a mostly civilised way ! There are many helpful people on this forum who go out of their way for others ! There are of course, others who are an aggravation to the soul ! I suppose it takes all sorts ( not bassetts ) to make the world !!

People who ask for advice on moving to North Cyprus when they have no intention of doing that, just like to get people arguing about the pro's & con's, they say they are moving next 1 or 2 months would you leave it so late in the day to ask for advice? it took me about 12 months to decide not to move.

I dislike the MULTIPLE ID'S who appear to be hell bent on trying to bring Cyprus 44 down.

I dislike bad language that is posted on here



I like and appreciete the mods try and do a good job even though it is a thankless task.

if cy44 was the same as it is today as it was 5 years ago when i bought off plan - i would have received an un-biast opinion of the pros and cons of buying here.



asking for advice on things trnc oncy44 is about as good as it gets - i'm sure dutch's "rose tinted, happy clappy boared" will give a fluffy distorted view of the place, which is no good to man nor beast.

I agree with Bill No1. Hate the double treble etc IDs. Hate the rudeness. Love the fact that they help when needed, like someone needing blood for instance. Loved the really nice people I have met through 44 which have become great friends.Information and experiences do vary but you gleam what you need. xxx

MARKY I used to be able to speak real gibberish, now many say I still do. It has its qualities, its discussions, advertising, (worst offernder). I know so many get upset about animals we all do but through here 27 from me got homed, and many more do, if they are lost or found, many find they way back. I like the ready access to useful information and the very helpful advice and frequent offers to help that is forthcoming. I also like the charity work that is advertised and conducted through the forum. I like the promoting of the positive aspects of the TRNC.



I like the ability of the forum to publish to many what is happening on a day to day basis in NC. That includes the positive and the negative.



I like the effort that is put in to help animals.



I dislike the abuse that is all too quickly spat at anyone challenging the rose tinted spectacles brigade, including surreptitiously trying to find my identity and never apologising despite being asked to (DC) and the sudden invitation to nasty porn sites, all because I dared to mention some negative aspect of the TRNC. Sinister.



I dislike the advertising that is done on the forum other than through the For Sale section which I like.

Thanks for your comment.You should not have to put up with abusive comments There is no excuse for abusive behaviour from anyone and I know it is against Forum rules ! This is not to say that a robust exchange of views is not desirable - it is the essence of good debate !!

I like the info,the banter and the friendliness from most posters,i also like how if theres a crisis,everyone comes together to support that person.

Without getting too personal, I dislike the 'extremely rude' poster and the arrogant ones.



There are too many posts started that end up in a slanging match and many posts that are deleted by the admin due to being rude and offensive.



It appears to be so easy to sit behind a computer and be rude, I often wonder whether these 'rude' posters would be the same if face to face.

We think there are some lovely people out there with kind hearts and have been very grateful for advice received on the forum since moving here late May.



We have also laughed at some of the replies given. Perhaps when we have been here a bit longer we may have some advice of our own to give.
