For fu..s sake Flamefabs is a well known forum admin of another site who seems intent on bringing 44 down, how come the membership of 44 can see it but the mods cannot. Come on guys get it sorted once and for all otherwise I am off to DC's site.

Yes I agree Pugwash & Doctor W between you and a few others this board is managing to become rather "Right Wing" cleaning up or cleansing is something I want no part of!! and harassment is definately a two way thing!



As for nastiness it comes from different perspectives depending what you have had to cope with in your life, personally I like to read all sides of a situation, not just Cocklebay/DoctorW/Pugwash's and a few others side!

I have broad shoulders and a high enough level of self esteem that doesn't allow such things to bother me, I do acknowledge the fact that more sensitive souls cry at the least bit thing and always try to temper my posts in that regard.Should you find yourself offended or in tears after reading any of my posts please pm me or say so in reply to the post and I shall endeavour to stem the flow with a gentle pat on the back and a quiet "there, there petal, it'll be alright".

Right wing, never. I am all for healthy debate and I have had my opinions changed by debate here and elsewhere. Unfortunately debate here quite often becomes a farce with name calling, inuendos and unproven matters being used as a weapon to bash the poster with.



If I am harrassing by questioning the rights of others to spread lies and inuendos then so be it. Maybe I will get banned for that.



I have lived in many places in my life and have had to change aspects of my behaviour to fit in with this, however I believe I have been able to keep my vision of what is right and wrong. Wherever you come from there is no need to behave like some posters do to other members.

That's just the point, Anders Breivik thought he had the right to impose his will on anyone not living "the right" way, as he saw it.

I think that some of the posters on here go way over the top and are allowed to do so. I just don't think, as a fairly recent member, that I should dictate what the mods allow.

This is a normal forum board! most people here are not fundamentalists (christian or otherwise) or anything to do with Murdoch or his press machine! or indeed anything to do with Al Qaeda! (Muslim or otherwise) I think most times I have abided by the "RULES"( except for the odd occasion) has have most other posters! apart from the odd few

I can see on this one that you and I are poles apart, I think it is a debate where there is no middle ground to give so there seems little point in continuing.



However before I go I would just like to thank you for a pleasant discussion about an issue that is obviously quite dear to both of us. We have exchanged views, neither being able to sway the other. Throughout it all you have not made threats, told me to go to Thailand to get a wife, accused me of wife beating or any of the numerous other things some members of this board are accused of without any proof. You may think I am a total ******, but have had the decency not to say so. Surely this is what discussion should be about not some of the posts we see on this forum.
