Hi DC,



I am interested in numerous things about the islands. First of all the history, both medieval and modern. Specially interested in the Railways of Cyprus. Unfortunately this led to loss of much archaelogy, most of it buried in the footings of the railway or used for bridges and stations so would be undecipherable today.



Unfortunately our relatively modern ancestors both British and other nationalities had little respect for the past.



I am also interested in walking. I am a keen walker and would be interested in some of the longer walks in the mountains or tracing the route of the old railway. Its great to get to see things that normal vehicle bound travellers will never enjoy.



Also inerested in being part of a community when I move over and learning Turkish which I will hopefully have more knowledge of by the time we move over.



Keeping busy. This one says it all, I have no wish to stagnate when I move to Cyprus so will look to take up other interests also.

All things related to Cyprus, past and present, ....... interested in the ancient sites that nobody knows much about .... there are so many things that are of interest, the fauna, the animals, the peoples etc etc ....
