As you have all seen on Barry Snakes' thread, he is performing at the Sunset Club this Saturday 30th July in aid of Help Those With Cancer Association/Tulips.



As Roger was a member of the HTWCA and having just recently passed away from this dreadful disease, we thought, with Enid's permission, that we would pay tribute to Roger on this night.



Please come along and help us raise money for HTWCA/Tulips in Roger's name.



We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.

A fitting tribute to a true gentleman. He bore this awful illness with no complaint and had a smile for everyone.

I will certainly be there on Saturday.

Just to be helpful, I will sling it back as well. ?cos Roger was such a super person, I will come and join you, if only to get pics, but not sure the 'old man' can stay long. But wouldn't miss paying tribute to our Roger.

Just to let you all know, we have some super meal prizes to raffle plus a banana boat ride for 4 people and if you are feeling really adventurous there is a jetski ride to win.

Thanks all for your kind comments and interest in this special evening ! I am really looking forward to playing at The Sunset again, its such a great location right on the sea with spectacular views of the sunset. I will be trying to cater for most tastes including a new "Rock Disco" section to kick off the 2nd half a mix of disco beat music with rock guitar influence very innovating !!!! This evening is not just about collecting money for a fantastic cause, but a privelage to be enjoying each others company, sharing a superb ambience.Bring your smile for Roger. I never knew Roger Stains but am very impressed by the many kind acts that his many friends have performed ! The old saying " A true friend is worth a thousand relatives " seems apt ! What a lucky man he was !! Well done everyone !!!

He was a wonderful man and his tributes have been amazing. He was obviously very, very well liked and sadly missed.



Sounds like its going to be a busy night at the Sunset, with tables selling out fast for food. Get in quick.
