Let's put the pensioners in jail and the criminals in a nursing home.

This way the pensioners would have access to showers, hobbies and walks.

They'd receive unlimited free prescriptions, dental and medical treatment, wheel chairs etc and they'd receive money instead of paying it out.

They would have constant video monitoring, so they could be helped instantly, if they fell, or needed assistance.

Bedding would be washed twice a week, and all clothing would be ironed and returned to them.

A guard would check on them every 20 minutes and bring their meals and snacks to their cell.

They would have family visits in a suite built for that purpose.

They would have access to a library, weight room, spiritual counselling, pool and education.

Simple clothing, shoes, slippers, PJ's and legal aid would be free, on request.

Private, secure rooms for all, with an exercise outdoor yard, with gardens.

Each senior could have a PC a TV radio and daily p

cont...

Each senior could have a PC a TV radio and daily phone calls.

There would be a board of directors to hear complaints, and the guards would have a code of conduct that would be strictly adhered to.

The criminals would get cold food, be left all alone and unsupervised. Lights off at 8pm, and showers once a week. Live in a tiny room and pay £600.00 per week and have no hope of ever getting out.

As much as I sympathise with the pensioner predicament, you really have the wrong idea of what prison life is like. In wandsworth prisoners are locked up in their cells 22 hours a day.

Msg 3

Pensioners did not ask to be put in this predicament, prison inmates did.

Nah..we'll be checking into a Holiday Inn! there will be no nursing home care for us. With the average cost for a nursing home care costing £188.00 per day, there is a better way when we get old and feeble. Ive already checked on reservations at the Holiday Inn.For a combined long term stay discount & senior discount. its £49.00,breakfast included & some have happy hours in the afternoon,That leaves £139 per day for lunch & dinner in any restaurant we want,or room service, laundry, gratuities and special TV movies, plus they provide a spa, swimming pool,a gym,a lounge & a washer dryer ect. Most have free toothpaste, razors and all have free shampoo & soap.Theres a city bus stop out front, and seniors ride free.It takes months to get into a decent nursing home,Holiday Inn will take your reservations today, and your not stuck in 1 place forever, you can move from Inn to Inn anywhere you like.TV broken?light bulbs need changing?need a new mattress?no problem, they fix everything....

...And they apologise for the inconvenience. The Holiday Inn has a night security person, the maids check to see if you're ok,if not, they'll call an ambulance (or the undertaker)And no worries about visits from your family, they will always be glad to find you,and probably check in for a few days vacation and the grandkids can use the pool.

What more could i ask for

vonny. A Princess Cruise ship for me.

1. As many as 10 meals a day if I can waddle to the restaurant or I can have room service which means I can have breakfast in bed every day. 2. As many as 3 swimming pools, workout room, free washers & dryers, and a show every night. 3. free toothpaste, razors soap & shampoo. 4. You get treated like a customer and not a patient, an extra £5 of tips will have the entire staff scrambling to help. 5. You get new people to meet every 7 or 14 days. 6. Clean sheets & towels every day and you don't have to ask for them. 8. If you fall and break a hip you will be upgraded to a suite for the rest of your life. Now hold on for the best, do you want to see South America, Panama Canal, Tahiti, Australia, New Zealand, Asia or where ever you want to go Princess will have a ship ready to go so don't look for me in a nursing home just call shore to ship. P.S and don't forget when you die they can just dump you over the side at no charge!
