Went for a drive down the coast road today towards Tatlisu. What an awe inspiring Drive had a look at some propertys at Sante Fe, Sweet water Bay, and other sites . Sweet water bay looks really great! magnificent veiws . has a massive swimming pool with what it looks like shops and bars around the poolside. Prices and specs of building look realy good can any one reccomend buying on either of the two sites or has any one had any dealings with the develoement Co.

Best Regards Louie

There are a couple of apartments available at the Sweet Homes site in Kucuk Erenkoy (where the new marina is ti be built) which are already completed and have electric etc. The site also has a popular restaurant Stevie's Bar and is worth a look..

Sea Terra is completed , 35 mins from airport , restaurants nearby , local shop / petrolstation within walking distance overlooks the sea /private gate to the litlle fishing Marina , def worth a look . The little villa company has some good deals for sale . Would recommend , we have a sea view apartment on there .

Turtle Bay Beach is one of the best locations on the island... the bay directly in front needs a bit of clearing up but believe me there is fine sand underfoot as you wade out to neck height. The apartments are also much more spread out than SWB and ST. The problem is it is not finished yet the other developments are.. It depends when you want to move in and the credit crunch is not helping. However, if you are willing to wait you might be able to do a great deal with Santa Fe.. just make sure you load any payments on results as once you place money in this land consider it spent !

Seaterra Bay has several front line seafront penthouses available, we have a garden apartment with the best view in Cyprus, Take a look at these before you decide.

There is a lovely three bedroomed detached Villa called Sevilla Villas overlooking the sea opposite sweet homes. £85.000 near completion.

I agree with the other SWB posters, the site is now looking terrific, everything you could want really, as you saw when you popped in. Everything should be up and running by early next year.

There are only a few left so sales are going very well.

When I was out in Easter and August there was no work going on at all at TBB so if I owned there I would be a little worried. It is in a great position though and well spread out. It would also be to SWBs advantage to get it finished because it would help with the infrastructure and stop spoiling the view.

seaterra bay is in a unique location and low impact while close to the sea

the reserve is situated on a maginificent cliff, clean air and remakable views

the former has barely half a dozen unsold and there is availability at reserve

while the marina offers resales, this is in a charming farm and sea location...

I think seaterra does cost a little more than some other projects,

but they are a reasonably ethical firm, with an understanding customer team,

there appears to be no jiggery-pokery and no land has been mortgaged

I would definately suggest looking at the three projects and seeing what suits

sweetwater bay, also in the tatlisu area is very attractive with a wider range of property types although it is rather more pricey and access to the beach

means threading your way down a rather steep path

nonetheless you could do several trips before deciding on anything at all

and consider what else is available, but some bargains are not what they seem

According to Santa Fe, TBB is likely to have contractors arrive to progress works at the end of the year..

If the site isn't finished and Santa Fe are only promising work to re-start at some later date I would have thought that this was at best alarming and at worst a delaying tactic while they try to dig themselves out of a cashflow dilemma...

Given the current climate I would be very careful...

Those who have already bought there would love the whole site to be sold as that is in their best interests.... it's their best hope that work will recommence.

We have a Sante Fe site at the top of our road and work ground to a halt there about a month ago. In fact, I don't think anything has really been done since before Ramadan. Please please please be very careful.

Groucho is right and his warning goes for any development in progress - given the current climate it would not make good business sence to plough on without seeking best contract pricing - but might be worth your while waiting for works to recommence first. There are many properties to choose from but before deciding try visiting the sites first... the best deals can be had whilst in the development stage but bif you can't wait or are retired then I would agree don't risk it.. what ever it's a buyers market so negotiate especially if interested in hard to sell finsihed property or better locations on yet to be completed developments..

Louie,

I would give Sweetwater some consideration, it is coming along really well and the facilities are above and beyond what most other projects are offering.

It’s no too far from the golf course, or the new (proposed) marina and the views of both the mountains and the sea/coastline are excellent.

Would just like to say, wherever you choose good luck to you.

Alex.
