Hi

I changed money today in the UK and got 2.7TL to £. Last summer I got 2.2TL.

Would you say that things are much more expensive this year or still more or less the same? I'm curious to know how far my money will go. Much better than if I was in the South and using Euros, thats for sure!

XE.com is showing 2.76 TL to the GBP today.

Is now the time to change Sterling into Lira, or do we think the Lira has further to fall?

Marks and Spencer. I alwas do it there because if you pay on your M&S credit card you get it interest free and might actually earn a few pence interest by leaving the cash in your savings account for a while longer.

It all hinges on the US debt vote,as everything seems to these days.

was in Girne this afternoon and noticed in one currency exchange they were giving 2.72.

Remember that the rate does fluctuate throughout the day but definitely better to exchange here.

Anyone got a crystal ball and can tell us when it will have reached it's highest?
