If you are going out the Guzelyurt way have a look at the Blue House (Mavi Kosk) Very interesting house which was owned by a GC gun runner and has been left in a time warp.

The old town of Farmagusta is worth a visit also. Lots to see.

Hi,

If you are going over to Famagusta go and see the ruins at Salamis.

You can spend a full day there. make certain you have strong walking shoes or boots and sandwiches and drinks, if it is hot take a hat.

Also a trip down the Karpaz is worth doing at this time of year.

Visit the Trodos mountains in the South

Also....Travel along the spine of mountain range in the North ( 2 parts ), I part is Old tank road, the other is Five finger to Esenteppe...both will not dissappoint.

Call in and have a drink at the Golf Club ( great location for a drink / meal ) and you do not have to be a member. ( Esenteppe )

Salamis is a must.

Bellapais Abbey is worth it ( half day only )

If you are going to the Mavi Kosk (Blue Pavilion) please remember to take your passports... it's in the North but it's within the confines of an Army base and you need passports to handover on your way in and more importantly collect on your way out...
