Of course, for 495TL per year, you can watch 'every' Formula 1 race and prelim's with English commentary in glorious High Definition and get 'every' single Premier League Football game (including the 3pm kick-offs) in High Definition and a number of other HD channels including Sky News - about 40 channels in total (including FTA Channels) The initial installation costs 750TL + 495TL (1st Year Subs')

The new 'footy' season starts in two weeks and we can install before it begins.

A tried and tested system that works all the time and comes with guarantee and 7 day per week customer service - 0533 869 4372 - http://www.satellitecyprus.com

This is our second year doing this package and we have hundreds of customers from the first year many of whom, have already renewed.

It is a grey market product (the same as Sky TV in Cyprus) but costs considerably less to set up and only needs a 90cm dish !

Oh, and I nearly forgot, it's cheaper to buy this product from an Arab Country and install it your

I forgot to add that for an 455TL per year, you can add JSC Channels +1 to +10 which covers the FA Cup, The League Cup, The Champions League, England Internationals, and a multitude of other sporting events - 0533 869 4372 - http://www.satellitecyprus.com

keithr.......Rights are sold region by region so, I doubt it. As long as Digiturk want to continue that is.

Re: Msg 1,

Bernie has gone completely mad!

The teams are already protesting: it will mean no TV audience.

Who is going to pay £40 per month to Sky?

Goodbye F1! Rest in Peace!

I note it didn't take Washerman long to 'pollute' the thread....and mistake facts :(

1/ re F1

2/ whether he'll be able to guarantee continued reception of his grey market pirate service

3/ and repeating the member who 'lost' his package - but forgets ALL those who smile quietly as they are paying the official price - not the inflated price that WILL get Washerman in 'trouble' ..and his clients for whom he has offered 'guarantees' he is in no position to keep !!

Now back to matters F1 - "Whitmarsh [ McLaren F1 team principle] said moves to take F1 off free-to-air could be viewed as a breach of the Concorde Agreement, with him claiming that there were clauses in the deal that ties the teams, Ecclestone and the FIA together that guarantees the sport's broadcast platform."

"BBC/Sky/F1 2012+. Found out last night, no idea how it will work yet I'm out of contract, will calmly work through options. Not impressed," he wrote."

Let's see how this pans out - early doors.. This could be the 'deal' that causes the F1 teams to call it a day with Bernie and make their own deal with TV cos...

F1 and pay tv has been a disaster

As as for watching TRYING to watch any GP on Nilesat an a Cyprus rainy day with a dish smaller than 1m - I can only say 'good luck' :(

The irony is that if you're watching via BBC interactive on a 1.8m or even a 4.2m you'll not lose the signal ..

re msg 4 Washerman

The risk of doing it yourself it virtually ZERO... and you'll save a packet..

You're charging nearly 1300Tl to fit a bin lid dish - that's too small for 99.7% coverage - for a unit that ANYONE can buy in an Arab country for 170 quid ?

Are your 90cm ( too small ) dishes made of platinum ? Your 'customer service' comes at a high price and is FAR more likely to see the client losing the package due to your 'naughty claims' ...

Caveat Emptor..

Hi Keith. re 13

the BBC WILL retain the five live commentaries and I'll keep the UK VPN for those stalwart FI nuts ;)

If these doesn't cause the F1 teams to re-evaluate the Concorde agreement - nothing will .. I'm thinking of starting a campaign to write to all the F1 teams asking them to remember who their fans are and not let us lose F1 on free to air TV..

The BBC were apparently thinking of pulling out a year early due to the costs and so MAY BE this deal does us a favour.... if only the BBC and ITV could have done a deal ....

I DO NOT want bleeding adverts during the F1 race ...GRRRRR

I don't know what all the fuss is over formula one coverage moving to sky.

If I wanted to see a driver do the same thing 78 times before finally finishing I'd watch my wife try to park!
